1. if only half were singing that's still more people there were at some gigs. Surely loud, just not done justice on the DVD

  2. UV is simply the best version I've heard so far. And the sound is 100% crisp.
The beginning of WTSHNN is another classic one, BTW...
  3. The extra "open-ness" of the Rose Bowl doesn't help either to the crowd's sound being recorded, I guess.
  4. At last I've managed to watch this in Blue-Ray... WOW. That was great. I liked the picture, I could see the sweat running down their faces and their wrinkles. That was a new experience for me and I liked it.
But then there was their performance. Overall they're on the top, they're full of energy but they should have recorded an European concert or an American concert in the start of the second leg but not the end of the leg because Bono's voice was sometimes tired.
The intro / outro: I liked the space kid very much, it's their best.
The beginning: I don't like it. I don't know why they cut off Breathe I liked it as a starter, though I know many people not but still, Boots is not a very good song and opener. This was the only time I watched this song, every next time I will skip it. Just as Magnificent, it's too long and for me it's painful to listen to it.
The real show starts at Mysterious Ways for me. I prefer this version to the Vertigo ones. In Beautiful Day, In God's Country and almost every snippet worked really well all along the show. Still Haven't Found was great, loved how they performed it in the 360 shows and this is one of my favourites. Stuck In A Moment (:r ). I remembered how I loved it in the Elevation concerts but now I feel sick if I hear it. The first track I have skipped during the first watch. NLOTH and Elevation was great, full of energy but In A Little While was weak though the ISS scene was nice.
Unknown Caller > Vertigo: the best part of the concerts in my opinion. Liked that they did't show the Claw all along.
Crazy Tonight: . The second track I skipped at first watch, I was a live-U2 fan, because they played rock'n'roll. I wanted to watch a rock'n'roll concert, if I want to listen to techno I turn on my mothers blender with some rocks in it.
Sunday Bloody Sunday was good, it got back that energy which was lost on the Vertigo dates.
MLK: not worth to mention it
Walk On: the third track I skipped after a few seconds.
One>Ultraviolet: another highlight of the DVD, very nice camera angles and energetic performance
With or Without You: almost skipped it but I thought "Hey! That's With Or Without You!" and then watched it over just for the old times' sake. Moment of Surrender was brilliant but they should have cut Bono's "rap" (:? ) instead of Breathe.

Overall: I liked it, but to pay 100 dollars for it... no. If I had to rank it, the it would be 65/100.
It seems it's not my U2 era. I'm very disappointed these days.

I agree with a lot of your points. The 360 tour at times (and as especially displayed on the DVD/Blu-ray) seems somewhat similarish to the Elevation tour in the aspect that there is a slight 'cheesiness' to some of theme of songs. I mean, I love whatever U2 does really but there's no denying the similarity in cheesefest between Crazy Tonight and songs from ATYCLB/Elevation Tour. I don't hate it but I sometimes wish U2 would move forward more than resort to doing something which is a bit too safe and easy - which I don't actually mind but it loses some of the spontaneity they used to have.

Still, a bloody brilliant tour so far.
  6. has anyone tried that 'bonus' thing yet when u press the button 4 when the clock on the dvd menu is at 3.32?? apparently u get to watch the rehersals from barca

does it work with the bluray version?
  8. I'm just loving how good the audio rip sounds on my iPhone when I have ne headphones in. I'm loving even more how amazingly great the audio sounds when it's played through the stereo!! It's a blessing that the guy next door is deaf else he would know the words to UV off by heart by now. UV on repeat - legendary! Highlight of the DVD (and tour so far) for me!
  9. My blu-ray arived today, but I gad time to see just half of it...Anyway, the sound is good, and the images quality is amazing!

To say in few words...It's not their best, but I like it

I'll try to write more latter...

    Greetings from Brazil
  10. I really enjoyed watching the dvd, although I can’t compare it with other shows cause this one’s the first I’ve seen
And that image where the claw lightens up when 'magnificent' starts gives me shivers (in a good way )
  11. I still don't know how to access the Easter egg on the Blu Ray? I tried the atu2 thing but I don't see the 3:33 on the bottom left of the blu ray menu. o.O. anyone know how to do it ?
