1. After........in a little while, kite, god will send his angels............

but only just, and i had to think about it.
  2. Why does the question exclude Achtung Baby?
  3. After, definitely after. I love every album after AB except for Zooropa. On the other hand I cant stand the most of the first four records...
  4. I answered this one before, I'm all for the BEFORE period. But that made me think of another question. Maybe a new topic?

    My questions would be;
    - At what age did you "fall" for U2?
    - In what year or during which album / tour was that?
    - Is that still your favourite U2-period?

    My answers would be
    - 17
    - 1983 (War / Under a Blood Red Sky)
    - No, but my favourite period is close to that: UF / JT / R&H / AB

    New topic?

    Works with me.
  6. after.

    I mean, there was POP.
  7. I'm honestly surprised at how many afters there are. As great as Zooropa was, tha'ts one album. To me, After achtung, U2 had 1 amazing album, and 4 good ones. Before, to me they had 4 great albums and 2 good ones (the four being Boy, War, UF, and JT). Something about the way U2 was in the 80's greatly surpasses the U2 of the 2000's. If "after" was to include AB, i'd have to say its perfectly equal for me though.

  8. Maybe we can switch some dates around...
    Rattle&Hum - 1997
    Pop - 1988.

Now I can without a doubt say before.
  9. Could you imagine U2 coming out with Pop after JT lol Now that would be funny
  10. Well they came up with Zoo TV after Lovetown
  11. Easy answer:

    Pop: don't really like it

ATTYCLB: well, this is the only outstanding one

HTDAAB: can live without it, disappoints me

NLOH: can live without it, disappoints me

So, definitely anything before AB, Joshua Tree alone is too extremely good.

  12. Before No Line On The Horizon I would have said after Achtung but now it is out I have to say everything before Achtung Baby.
