1. as there is a discussion going on about zoo t.v and popmart (which do you prefer?) i thought i would see how the 360* tour measures up against them. ???
  2. There's a lot of aspects to look at each tour: Size, profit, costs, length, critics, audience, quality of music, how far did it go i.e Australia, South America. Tough to compare, I'd go with ZooTv, 360 then Popmart. For now anyway
  3. thanks for that input...but costs and logistics aside, which was the better tour - if you have attended all 3 of them..... on a production level..??
  4. sorry..!! ....better on a strictly musical level.(sound wise....lighting/effects...etc...crowd participation....)
  5. I've only been to 360, ZooTv was just around the time I was born actually but ZooTv wins for the musical level, great voice, guitar playing and some crowds are just brilliant. Milan, Dublin.. Great boots. I don't think Zoo can be beaten
  6. ive seen all 3 of the said tours and i agree - zoo t.v was the best by far, the arrangement of the songs and edges guitar playin has never been bettered to this day. i also loved the mockery of the media and the alter-ego "macphisto" that bono switched too in the last segment of the show
from popmart i liked the experimental sound system that was used, i know a lot of you hated it and said that depending where you were in the stadium- depended on what quality of sound you actuallty got.....i must have been just in the perfect place i was slightly disappointed-(not much, they could never totally do that!) with the 360* arrangement of the songs, they seem a bit "empty" to me, not the usual "wall" of sound that normally greets you at a u2 show it needs beefed up a bit
( i know on the zoo t.v shows that there were other guitars being played under the stage and there was a lot more sequencing going on too) maybe this is whats wrong ?? does anyone else have any thoughts on this........ the lighting and effects on 360* are far superior to zoo t.v and popmart, and this is my only real plus...........
if i had to rate them out of 10.........
    zoo t.v 10+
    popmart 8+
    360* 8
    peace.

was there really another guitarist? i´ve always known about keyboard/synths and in some song the drum tech supports larry like beginning of mways or clapping in desire... but about a guitarist never heard about it really.. and was never alble to hear him and i thought i had a good ear... well, i´ll be disappointed if it´s true
  8. Zoo TV and PopMart had better performances but 360 had the best lighting and stage set up.
  9. Yeah 360 hasn't had enough different songs there are like about 20 songs that have been played everytime

They need to mix it up a lot more, PopMart was simular with simular setlists but it was a great show.

Zoo TV had the best setlists, the best music and the best vocals I feel.

Don't get me wrong Sheffield in 360 was the most amazing thing ever but you know..
  10. 360 has the best stage, Popmart just behind and Zoo TV then last.

Zoo TV had the best performance, then 360, and Popmart last

Zoo TV had the best setlist

I think Zoo TV only wins by a little, not marginally. People say it's the best tour by far That's over-exaggerating things.
  11. I'd put the 360 tour behind quite a few more tours than just Pop and Zoo. Out of the 3 mentioned though it is Zoo - Pop - Claw
