Suarez
is a world-class player, I'm sure he'll be in the top of Europe anytime soon. I'm so glad we have him in Ajax, he scored more goals than anyone in Europe this season.
His actions were stupid but he took one for the team.

Suarez is a class act but I'm not liking much of his attitude, as Gerard eloquently phrased itForlan though, fantastic player - what Man Utd would give to have had him play like this back then. Ghana can be so proud though, and I think the future's bright for them when you think how many of those players have barely broken into their 20s - valuable experience they can take into the next few international tournaments.
I think this tournament has thrown a couple things into the spotlight though - a) goal-line technology or something to prevent gaffs e.g. Lampard's 'goal', and b) in situations like Suarez's handball; should football take a hint from rugby and award penalty goals or the like? There was no doubt that would have been a goal bar for cheating, whether it was intentional or instinctive.
I've also been racking my brains as to a team of the tournament thus far...anyone fancy throwing their suggestions in?

Harry,
I have to disagree...
The hand issue was well resolved... red card + penaltie shot....
It was fair enough.... If I'd been in his shoes at the moment I'm pretty sure I've done the same....
on the matter of team of the tournament???
still having doubts????
