1. Not Özil is the better "Messi", it's Schweini (Schweinsteiger) for me.

They make the rules, they are a monopoly, they can change them.

A good underdog run in a competition is as good for the neutral as watching any of the big teams (who are often disappointing). Anyway, football is zero to do with what we want, it's about what makes most money for those at the top of the ladder.

Of course it is. That's why most people are cheering for the underdogs. But even more people want to see the big names.
There's a simple way to change the situation. Boycott the games on TV, don't go to the stadiums - 0,01% do that, though.
  4. The FIFA are doubting between 1 and 2 matches suspension, but I guess it will be just 1.

South American players do everything to win, that's what their culture is all about.

  5. Yep, but they have to punish Suarez within the rules that exist for that situation. After that, they're free to change what they want.

Correct, but they have had the opportunity to change rules many times before. The point is that it sucks, that it is unfair regardless of the rules. But in the end its just a game.
  7. great save!
  8. wow, what a sequence
  9. and it should have been another penalty for Spain. Promising now after I fell asleep during 1st half.
  10. Thought I was quids in when Paraguay grabbed a penalty. Then and then

    Come on Paraguay!
  11. why did Spain have to retake thier penalty when Parguay didn't? Players in the box on both occasions.
