  5. Screamed my longs out and I am really glad with the victory. But again a weak match.

    Holland plays too much through the centre. Sneijder was terrible, his first step was always egoistic and that forced him to do two step backs, slowing down the game.
    Robben, had the opponents stumbling multiple times, but did not ran past them when they did. Again predictable searching for his left.
    Boulahrouz, terrible game. His attacking moments were the best, that says something for a defender

    I dont understand why we have no one that can run to the goal line and give a nice cross in the box. They are making things unneccessary complex by all those weird passes through the center.

    Luckily we have constructed the gift to score while playing crap

    Positive news: v Persie getting some of his reflexes back. Van Bronckhorst was still able to dash across the sides and scored an amazing goal. Van der Vaart played a good second halve (minus the first 5 minutes of it). Kuyt worked his ass off. Van Bommel was solid. Although we had two goals against us the defense (minus Bouhlarouz) was relatively good.

    Also Uruguay was nowhere to be found, except for 5 minutes in both the first and second halve.

    Exactly. It is our time to grab the cup, so many times we deserved it in the past and now we are very close.
  9. Incredible. This means so much for this country. For me it was exciting as hell, but I understand that you found it a very boring match. Hell, we're in the fucking final, I can not believe it. About the game, first half was pretty ppor again. Beautiful strike from our ''oldie'' Gio, one of the greatest goals of this championship. Unfortunately Stekelenburg made a big mistake at the 1-1, although that ball was not so easy to save as it looked I think.

    Second half we played better, and deserved the win. We might not convince you but we don't mind. And if we get the cup I'm sure this country will blow up. It's a huge party right here, and like it was my birthday today, I couldn't get a better present. I don't mind about tomorrow's game. We'll play our best match in the final. Come on with that cup!


  10. Yes, funnily enough that's the only thing that's stopping me from saying that Germany will definitely win.

    Germany looks far more convincing than Spain, which has had trouble beating second rate teams like Paraguay and Chile (compared to the utter rout of England and Argentina), plus they lost to the Swiss.

    Germany is also ridiculously consistent and doesn't get cocky and understimate their opponents, they will definitely have tactics set up to contain the likes of Villa.

    I'm wagering that if the Germans lose, it'll be due to some on field drama (players sent off, penalties, controversial ref decisions etc) like how they lost to Serbia.

    As for the octupus, he was wrong once in Euro 2008, so maybe he'll guess wrong this time.

    And seriously, the Dutch are goners against whoever makes it to the final, theirs was the easy side of the tree.

    Kuyt is one of the most underrated strikers in any of the top leagues in Europe, very glad to see him playing on the biggest stage of all. I'd say he's the Dutch's answer to Heskey except he does actually score goals much more suited to a team ethic than, say, Van Nistelrooy. Shame Huntelaar isn't making the starting lineup, hasn't had the injuries that Van Persie has had this year but hey, you can't doubt the latter's talent and whatnot. Interesting you thought Bouhlarouz was crap, I thought he was pretty solid actually, Cavani rarely got the better of him throughout the match and it was Heitinga and Mathijsen who were at fault for letting Forlan get the shot away for the first (in my opinion). How Van Bommel hasn't racked up 20 yellow cards this tournament is completely beyond me lol. However, fact is you guys have been solid throughout the tournament, and somehow manage to get a goal when it's needed, although no one's quite sure how - you've just cruised all the way to the final in 2nd gear, if that, whilst Germany have smashed pretty much everyone apart in the knockouts (and Spain have stuttered their way to the last 4...). Sod's law would have it that come the final, whoever you play has an absolute stinker, you guys play the game of your lives and lose 1-0
  12. Bouhlarouz was sluggish also havent you seen the terrible pass back to Stekelenburg which almost caused a goal?
    I'd let Forlan shoot from 30m as well, its part of the risk. Keeper could have stopped that shot.



    Its a final, doesnt matter if you play a team like Germany or a shit team, you can win or lose either way. Holland has the quality to make both Germany and Spain sweat.

    Although it would be foolish to ignore the fact that Germany is the best during this tournament, but the tournament isnt finished yet
