1. One of Chicago's rock radio stations, "The Drive" WDRV, is playing two straight hours of a live show (which has yet to be announced) between 8PM-10PM Central time. It was initially advertised as a "2 hour live set", which could have meant that it was cuts from any different eras, just basically live stuff for 2 hours...but it was more recently advertised as "a 2 hour concert from Chicago". I'm thinking this will either be opening night or night two of 360, because they're doing it in honor of our show being tonight if not postponed.

I'm recording this broadcast on my laptop, and I'll share with ya'll in the morning what it turns out to be and if its of the 360 stuff, I'll splice it/pack it/MediaFire it so that we have another source up on the pages- I love FM broadcasts!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that's happening and hopefully get some excited for what news I could be bringing in the morning. Maybe not THAT big of a deal since the boots from those two nights are already 5-star AUD sources, but it doesn't hurt to have a little variety, and I've been itching to give back to this site for a long time

this is a waste of time, I'm shutting the recording off. Sorry guys. This is still probably pretty cool for any non-fanatic that lives in the city, I shouldn't complain so much.
  2. Ohhh... that would be amazing because I was just listening to the Chicago 2 bootleg and was wishing how all shows should have their soundboards released. LOL Good showss

Sounds good! (watch it'll be a rip of the Vertigo DVD)

  4. 65,000 planned to be at Soldier Field tonight for U2. While the show may be postponed, the concert will go on! Tune in..[blah blah blah]

Should start in about 5 minutes. I'll stick around and edit the top post to confirm what it is, then just leave it run. Post a setlist in the morning and take tomorrow to get the show ready for the site.

  5. Fuck me sideways. First track? Pride in the Name of Love, Vertigo//Chicago 2005 DVD.

  6. LOLOL DAMNIT!!!! still what if they throw in YOUR BLUE ROOM from CHICAGO

  7. They can't JUST play stuff from this...they can't.

Its the only pro-shot stuff released from Chicago, though, so they could just chop up the Vertigo setlist and play only stuff from the DVD. John Q Public doesn't know any better; even if the most casual fan was AT the very concert, he wouldn't realize that all the tracks were from the same show, nor would the rest of Chicago on their way home from work, etc. Makes sense to only be this.

We'll see though; radio stations played recordings of "One" and "Pride" from Chicago I the day after Chicago II (if that makes sense)...so its not out of the question.

EDIT: the fact that you said that, though, is utterly hilarious.

oh really? Then why bother with Pride from the Vertigo tour ahaha hopefully something from NLOTH shows up
  9. "One" came on and I was pretty sure it was from 360 Chicago I, and even the crowd noise sounded like Soldir Field (60,000 cheering afterwards instead of 20,000), but then they went straight into "Walk On" straight after. Not sure if this was a one-two punch from an Elevation Chicago gig, or if they just did a bang-up editing job on a 360 show. It seriously sounds like 360, but I can't get past the Elevation Tour setlist irony..

EDIT: Must be Elevation. Bono says "YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL!" towards the end, followed by, "There's a spirit in the house!", which I don't recall from either Chicago show. Also no mention of An Sang Suu Kyi, a staple on the 360 performances.
