1. Alright I'm going out. They're apparently not doing anything other than DVD rips, so wasting my laptop life recording this whole thing is sort of pointless. There won't be any soundboard cuts; if there were, they would be playing cuts from Chicago to be true to the city. They've just taken the easy way. G'night guys.

The whole show is a collection of re-arranged DVD rips from their video library, officially released, meaning we can't post them here. Its the same audio quality as if you were to do it yourself, which you'll have to do if you want to hear the same cuts I'm hearing...that I could just as easily be listening to on my iPod.

    Damn you, WDRV.

  3. I stand corrected. It was Slane, not Boston. Would be pretty obvious if Bono was saying "Thank you, Massachusetts!" for a "Chicago" radio station show.

Too lazy to even edit the original post Edited. Ya'll can even close the topic unless you care to keep talking about this. I'm leaving; they're playing official releases only.
  5. No real need to close it....it'll just fade away eventually

Was fun while it lasted I guess
  6. The Drive probably marketed this for just casual fans, but if they were smart, they would gear this towards the die-hards. You could easily get worldwide listeners tuning in online if they did something different like playing a ton of U2 Chicago rareties - bootlegs from the 80s. That would keep peopel tuned into their station for 2 hours. Oh well...

    Thanks though, Matt!!!
