Heartbroken but we will get another chance...hopefully in a little less shorter time then this one...cant stant the feeling that we might have to wait another 32 years again....Still dont know how it feels to win a major tournament Tomorrow I will go to Amsterdam anyway to give the team the support they deserve!!

    Hopefully this gave them some (more) confidence, and maybe we'll get to the final again. I mean they had a little taste so And Robben, man...
    But my god the ref AAARGH How could he not see that!!!!

  6. Quite surprised so many dutchies quarrel with the ref. He didn't have a good day for sure. If he had one, Holland would have been reduced to 9 after 30 minutes... Apart from that "corner" he was quite favorable for the Dutch...

    Anyway, Hollands tactics seemed to be to destroy the spanish play and to hope for the lucky punch. Robben had that occasion twice...

    Iniesta could've gotten red or yellow twice as well. Anyway it doesnt matter. Dutch played crap, had to chance to win but didnt.

    Yep, same for Sneijder and Robben and the spanish penalty,... it just wasn't Mr Webbs best day.
    I think the "brutal" play worked for to some extent... a cold blooded striker was what Holland missed most.
  9. We were lucky to get this far. Anyway, I dont like the tactics we used. With 90% of the players we showed excellent technical football before and now they do it like this. Can count the number of crosses on one hand. I'd say the Dutch have to return to what they do best. Fast paced along the sides. We have the players for it, only we lossed the mentality.

    We played more German than the Germans and we even beat the Italians on their style of play
  10. I don't understand why you Hollandians are so angry for refrees decisions? If he made his work right, you had two players sent off after 30 minutes. Van Bommel and De Jong made very brutal fouls and if you played in 9, you have no chance... So yes, he was bad but you didn't loose because of him...
