  2. It seemed like such a thing Bono would actually say in real life - I can't believed I dreamed it

Had one last night - mine somehow always involve just Bono. Dreamt they were playing in a really small theater in New York City and I was waiting outside to see if they'd let me in without a ticket. The club was really run-down, like a hole in the wall type of place. There were only a few of us waiting, and the guy at the door finally let us in. I ran inside, up a short, sticky flight of stairs, and came into the hall - it was set up exactly like a miniature in-the-round stadium. All of the seat were circled around the center stage, which was about the size of a small local community stage. It had a huge sheet hanging from the ceiling that covered everything on the stage, but I knew somehow that there was a miniature Claw underneath there. Everyone was seated, but the place was only about half-full, so I ran down to the second row and got an aisle seat. The lights went down, and Bono and Edge came out and thanked us all for coming to this "charity event for (RED)." They said the show would start shortly, and asked us to buy some of the (RED) products that were set out on some tables. The lights went up and we all clapped, got up and walked around looking at the products. All of a sudden I saw Bono walking towards the place I was standing, talking with some politicians that he was with. I waited for a couple minutes and pretended to look at the stuff on the tables, and then I saw him turn a corner right across from me - he was all by himself now, and he was looking over the products. I ventured up to him and said "Hi Bono" rather sheepishly. He turned toward me and gave me a smile and said "Hi there - how do you like the products?" I said they were great, and I thought he was doing a great thing. Then I said "I really love your music - can I have a handshake?" He grinned, and said "Sure," shaking my hand. I said "Can I have a hug and a kiss?" He said yes again, and when he hugged me, I said, "I've been listening to your music forever." He said "So have I." Then he told me to enjoy the show and went backstage. I went back to my seat, and I woke up as the band was starting City of Blinding Lights.

    nice dream!

    So romantic even in dreams....
  5. reading about the dreams you folks had recently makes me sit here in awe, and there is a nice feeling in my stomach... U2 touch us even in our dreams, amazing. thanks for sharing, everyone, such a joy to read and become part of your dream world, seriously
  6. What other bands, have you had dreams of? I once had a dream where I was hanging with Mike Peters from The Alarm. I owned a nightclub, and he was trying to buy it from me.

  7. Had a dream last night that I was in a random house, and a PopMart Edge was walking around...I had recently been listening to a bootleg (in the dream) where Bono introduced "Staring at the Sun" by saying, "here's a new song; Edge loves it", but I couldn't tell if he was saying "loves" or "wrote" it...so I decided to corral him down and ask him. I had a huge gaping grin on my face and I was like, "Excuse me! Edge! This is gonna sound weird, but, did you write "Staring at the Sun"?" and he just said..."No?". But I kept going.

"Well...is it possible that like, maybe you love it more than all the other songs you guys play?" (dont know why I said this)

"....Nope." At that point, he was smiling at me. We had been walking and talking, and as I looked around, I realized we were in a theater. The Edge walked up the aisle and stood towards the front, and the screen turned on and got very bright, making Edge's silhouette stand out brilliantly. As the screen got brighter and brighter Edge cocked his head to the side and sort of looked upwards towards the top of the screen, as I watched him in awe, and then I woke up.
  8. Hahaha great dream! Popmart, Staring At The Sun and The Edge, what else can a human been wish for

  9. Totally just remembered, I literally said to him, "Well you know it is one of the best songs live you're doing right now. Those harmonies are GORGEOUS" and he just gave me a goofy smile like, "Yeah, it's our song, I know", only not in a rude way hahaha
  10. Lol, great dream I guess you know Edmonton's Staring at the sun? Best version imho.

  11. Nope! Gonna check that boot out just for that (My queue is getting wayyyyyy too long...)

I really love Toronto's (last night of that leg), and, well...pretty much all of them if I'm being honest. Always, consistently a highlight of the PopMart shows for me. Never fails to make me close my eyes and just sort of let that chorus take me.
