Stephanie Meyers quotes Muse as the inspiration behind the books so they've got to be flattered by that. No different to being on a Batman soundtrack....

+1 and +1, completely agree with both your posts. I even found myself singing along to NSC the other day......................

I know. I know. Now I'll go out and torture myself, then I'll listen to Space Dementia and Cave 100 times each and then I'll go back again. I hope that's enough

  2. Very bland melody lines in my opinion.....the same thing over and over

And yeah, I'm with you, I don't think NSC is the horse manure many are saying - I don't think it's amazing, but I think it's a decent song; the guitar solo wins it all over for me, very Brian May.

The books are dedicated to Muse and she says (or at least implies) that the lyrics inspired major plot points. No, I don't see it either, but hey!
I'm unusual in that I love the books and like the films but I am a long way from being a) female and b) a teenager. Maybe this is why NSC is ok with me?

you are much closer to being a teenager than me, and Sergio is one, so that's ok

  4. I'm one month away to officially stop being a teenager. Ohh the twenties

I hate the Twilight books and the films, though. They also remind me (in a bad way) to Boy (the U2 album) and therefore I hate them even more.

Much closer, but a teenager no longer indeed having said that, quite a few of my friends at uni. - some months/year or so older and some a couple months younger - are taken with it, so I don't think the teenage bracket really covers it lol. I've not read nor seen any of the stuff, nor do I particularly intend to because it just doesn't interest me. Lyrically inspired plot points...

(I'm trying to work out some witty blackhole-related joke but am failing miserably so have decided just to leave that sentence hanging...)

The 20s don't feel overly different m'man, don't get your hopes up!
  6. Probably gonna see them at Sziget this year. Gonna go from U2 in Frankfurt straight on to Budapest.

  7. You'll die. No one can stand a Muse concert just after a U2 one. That's why they cancelled their appereance at Glastonbury (don't believe the media! Bono was perfectly ok, he was just watching the world cup!!)
  8. Why wouldn't you be able to stand Muse after U2?

  9. It was a joke, I meant that attending two consecutive killer-shows (as are both U2 and Muse) can be very destructive (phisically speaking).

Speaking of which, I am seeing Muse in Krakow on August 21st and U2 in Vienna 9 days after that...

Sziget has a killer line-up this year.

Luckily Muse is about a week after U2. Only pitiful thing is that after U2, it can't get better.
