  1. I was driving past Soldier Field when IGC came on and wondered why this isn't apart of their set. Really fun song. Don't agree with dropping WOWY, though. One of my favorite songs.

    Nah, drop With or Without You. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good song, but it's just getting a little boring in 360. Same with Beautiful Day, drop that. I think replace Beautiful Day with Drowning Man and With or Without You with Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me.
  4. I think New Year´s Day is one of the best songs of U2 and this music should be in this setlist and Even Better Than The Real Thing is another great song should be in every setlist of U2.

    Nice list but I'd be surprised if they only played one track from The Joshua Tree. At least one of WOWY or ISHFWILF will (and should) stay...and then maybe something else from the album - but not BTBS. It should remain shelved for this tour.

    I would also drop GOYB, though I don't mind it live

    And Elevation too

    Oh, and COBL - was never a huge fan I guess, though I don't mind it either (it is just that the new performances don't add much to the song)

    Unknown Caller is OK, but U2 have written better songs

    I'd love to hear more magic songs from TUF (how about Wire in a lower key?), something from JT, some good songs from AB, some songs from NLOTH which haven't been played live yet, and some new material.

    Concerning Pop, I'm not too sure how that material would fit with the TUF/NLOTH mood of the 260 tour.

    Anyway, without new material, I'm afraid any U2 setlist would sound a bit trite. Yet, I'm somewhat sceptical about read-testing (though new road-tested songs and no album yet is certainly better than no album yet full stop). I enjoy concerts more if I know the songs already.

  8. Bullet would be awesome if they could get the claw to shine solitary lights around a pitch black stadium. Similar to when Bono used to have the torch he shone around when all the lights were dipped.

    Bullet could drop all the stadium lights and have the claw lit up un a blood red colour, possibly re-use some of the graphics from Elevation and have some flashlights from the claw blinking in the crowd. Or get Bono to shine a torch.

    Anything from Pop would suit this stage down to a tee. Both are big and bold. Discotheque would utilise the disco ball and would sound amazing. MOFO, Last Night On Earth and Staring At The Sun would also be very welcome.

    Now they've settled the tour in and both continents have a good idea of what to expect, I think U2 would be wrong not to be more impressive this leg round and bring back some of that highly rated live material. Don't even have to give it us every night, just splash them in every so often.

    Even Better Than The Real Thing is also crying out for a return. These once stapled songs are slowly being undone and forgotten about.

    Yeah, I agree. i love the song too, but I think it's time to introduce a new "classic" in that slot.
