  4. The trade-off of Stuck & Ultraviolet for HMTMKMKM and Miss Sarajevo would be enough for me to change 360 to my favorite U2 Tour. Not because I hated UV or anything like that...just the variety and them brining back Batman, really. I knew they weren't going to change more than a couple of songs, and the fact that we've heard a few potential new cuts excites me too. I'm happy with these changes and am not going to mope. Very excited!!!

    Also, if they don't end the 360 Countdown (meaning the DAY 1 video) with the music for "Soon", it will be a wasted opportunity.
  5. NOOO, they can't drop UV - are you guys serious, we've been ranting for decades how they should bring UV back and now that they have, you want them to drop it for HMTMKMKM?

    I mean it's a decent song, but I don't think Bono has the voice for it anymore and it will come across as half assed like TUF.

    I like Miss Sarajevo, they should play that instead of cringeworthy blubber like Walk On - which I hate
    The only ATYCLB songs they should play are Beautiful Day and In A Little While - which they should play like they did on the Elevation tour with the "slow down my beating heart" Bono & Edge outro.

    I wouldn't mind if they broke out the Ground Beneath Her Feet once in a while either.

    Of the new songs, I really hope the lyrics are wrong, they're not very good.
    And isn't North Star a leftover from the HTDAAB sessions with Michael W Smitht?
    Didn't he play organ on it? It was tribute to Johnny Cash IIRC

    And the other song, did they say earlier that they wrote a song specifically for Glastonbury? Or were they just going to play one of their new songs at the festival?
  7. U2italia are reporting that Bono is using the Jacket and Microphone he used for Ultraviolet last year for HMTMKMKM :'(

I didn´t like the lyrics to the songs that much either... seem quite clumsy, mainly for Bono which once was one of th best lyric writers... but I think we have to wait... these are okay recordings we might get confused... but bono shoud take a look at the songs some u2 starters wrote for tips !


  9. I agree with alot you have said except for a couple things

    -I do believe Bono has the voice for Batman now. If he could pull it off during Popmart, his worst vocal period he can easily do it now.
    - While UV is also one of my top U2 songs I still don't mind the switch up. Sometimes you have to give to receive and if they can drop the highlight of the show from 09 then they should be open to changing other portions of the set which didn't work so well.
