1. I hate sound really negative to those happy with everything with the 360 tour but some of the lack of changes U2 seem to be doing this tour tells me that they no longer really listen to hardcore fans anymore. HMTMKM to replace UV as one of the very few big exciting changes really speaks a lot of volumes with what's going on, as does the reluctance to use any NLOTH songs.

See, now if they really were taking on board what a lot of the fans were saying, they would know NLOTH is a good song live, some of the ATYCLB stuff is getting stale, the setlist is also becoming constantly predictable and 'safe', and people want to hear more stuff from AB, Pop, Joshua Tree, R&H, and Boy.

Yes, it's great to see the boys back on tour after everything that's happened and yes we're lucky they are still going after all this time but this tour, more than any other tour, is playing it extremely safe and predictable and feels more than anything, almost like a greatest hits tour - but at least if was a greatest hits tour will would maybe see more variety!

I love U2, I really do. But if on Friday the setlist is the same as the one they rehearsed then I don't really feel very hopeful or excited about what the rest of the tour brings.

I again apologise for negativity, I just see so much potential with that stage setup and Bono's voice that it almost feels like it's being wasted. Maybe I am spoilt by what the band did during the Vertigo Tour but it's certainly obvious that when you compare the two tours and each legs, this tour is lacking a lot of creativity.
  2. ...Exit.
  3. No Line On The Horizon was one of the best songs that they played in 2009. It would be a shame (A Shame!) if they drop it. I honestly do not think that they will drop it, but so far, it doesn't look good. We still have two days though, and keep in mind that it's one of the simplest songs that they have played in their career.

I would post the same for POPMart to Vertigo as well, but this is kind of time consuming.
