    is hilarious. Magnificent becomes Transluscent, Achtung Baby becomes Achtung Babies, Glastonbury is now Glastonburry, North Star is North Star Acoustic.



    Su Trasluscent cala il buio. Solo gli U2 in mezzo alla luce gialla e arancio, più mille flash di macchine fotografiche. La più straordinaria macchina della storia del rock è partita e macina brani come fossero grano, il maxischermo circolare sopra le loro teste manda immagini a raffica. Get on Your Boots, pezzo dell'ultimo disco, quasi stordisce la massa di teste e cuori, ravvivati dal continuo vagare dei quattro su cerchio esterno del palco. Un "Happy birthday" intonato dal pubblico per The Edge, Bono che ringrazia Torino: "Siamo stati qui una settimana con le nostre famiglie e siamo stati benissimo". Poi Mysterious Ways (da Achtung Babies), le due canzoni nuove (Glastongburry e il semi-inedito North Star Acoustic), i superclassici come Miss Sarajevo, Unforgettable Fire, Sunday Bloody Sunday, With or Without You, un discorso di Desmond Tutou prima di One. Ventiquattro canzoni in tutto, e la sensazione che a Torino sia stata scritta almeno qualche riga di quel grande libro che è la storia del rock.
