  6. Holy crap. Just downloaded the boot, and just finished watching the videos of Stingray, Glasto, North Star, and HMTMKMKM...what an awesome concert. I'm pretty jealous of the people in Turin. Hold Me sounds even heavier than it was in the recording, which is pretty great. Bono is a crazy man...if I had hurt my back to the point of not being able to walk a couple months ago, I wouldn't be swinging on that mic like he did. I think parts of Glastonbury sound like Led Zep (maybe that's just me?), which I liked. I wonder what the deal was with North Star...if they had Michael W. Smith in a long time ago to help them out with it, you'd think it'd have been farther along than the version they played last night. Whatever. Still an interesting song. New intro is killer, although it feels like they left a little bit too much space between it and the start of BD. Wish I could have been there- can't wait to see the tour next year.

    Seems like maybe Bono was watching the U2 ZooTV Live in Sydney and U2 Elevation Live in Slane and Boston DVDs while he was injured with there being so many references to the ZooTV and Elevation era.

  8. I'm loving HMTMKM despite the Bono's lyrical mess...... I really really love the "What time is it in the world???..... SHOWTIME!!!" part at the end, it's class


    By the way, What time is it in the world seems to be the new "U2 ad", it appeared 4 or 5 times in the Turin show.
  9. That My Sweet Lord snippet in Mysterious Ways is the best snippet in this song ever. Brings us back to Popmart. But, PLEASE, play the solo as you did before.
  10. Agree on both things. The My Sweet Lord snippet is sooooo sweet, but the song is not the same without the killer solo.

    Dear U2, Mysterious Ways is a shadow of itself without the extended live solo. Please restore to its former glory. Thank you, everybody.
  11. Despite all, I believe they have extended the end of the song a bit compared to last year. But it's still not the same than this magnificent solo.
