1. Listening to it in Turin and again on the bootleg yesterday my thought was like "this is the second time in ten years I actually enjoyed One". The first time being at my first concert back in 2001. No political speech before it, lovely guitar intro, long outro with "Hear us ... " part. Actually, the way I like it.

Sounds like they are using a better mix for One. If you listen to the guitar parts, they sound more prominent than before, which is good because it sounds really fresh.
  3. Panorama photo:
  4. Some awesome pics!
  5. Panorama photos are better each year, but I don't like them as much as I did when they first appeared (I saw the first ones back in 2005).
  6. the concert of Turin is my mind, in my mind and in my soal (ad in my hear...thanks for bootleg!)!
thank so much Bono, your voice was so incredible, so emotional ! miss sarajevo was a real great moment, magic unforgettable fire, hold me a real surprise for me...i like the song...i hope to go rome too beause i need their music, i need to see them and they are my only drug! do you understand what mean?
  7. I thought the show was very, very good.Similar to last year, yes.I went back and listened to the Europe 2009 bootlegs after downloading the Turin gig.Alot of energy at this show. The new songs are very good.I dont think we can say they are "promoting" a cd from 18 months ago. This tour isnt going to spark a new interest in the disc. They should drop Boots and add other songs from No Line. How about an acoustic version of White As Snow instead of IALW.Play Fez for Gods sake and Stand Up Comedy.I dont have a problem with BD opening that show.Maybe they could use a different opener each night? Open a show with Streets, next night Magnificent, next night MW etc.End a show with say,Cedars of Lebanon.I love that song,it so moving, and they havent played it live.I would love to hear Love Is Blindness acoustic in there. Also, why dont the band accompany the DVD releases with a cd release as well? Bruce,DMB,Pink Floyd,Roger Waters,David Gilmour etc all release live DVDs with a cd of the gig as well. The last commercial live cd release ?..Rattle and Hum,and half of that disc is studio songs.Sydeny and Slane are fanclub limited releases. And we had to wait over 15 yrs for Sydney on cd.We had to wait 20 years for the Paris dvd and download.Strange.U2 are a great live band,I would love to have released live material, without having to rip it from a dvd.Imagine if U2 would sell each show as a download on their site (like other bands,Depeche Mode come to mind).I would buy almost every show.Oh well......Peace.

You all probably know, but they rehearsed Discotheque riff the night before concert. My friends and me were walking around the stadium and they tried a couple of times to play part of Discotheque after Crazy Tonight. At the end we got only lyrics, but who knows, maybe they do the whole thing in Frankfurt.

My guess is since they "got away with" using it as just a snippet, it's all they'll continue to do.
  10. Question: Did they do the thing with the Questions people sent in after?
