1. short message from frankfurt: my best gig ever. over and out. see you in a week.
ITS THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT:
  2. oh, we heard them soundchecking nyd, one of the few songs they playwed. loved it. couldnt care about NS, it was rock and roll an djumping from begin to end. really. sometimes i couldnt even hear bono cause of the crowd. wowowoww. it was so great. out.
  3. one more post. we were at the best place in the house, catwalk in the middle, first row. bono and band were pretty much close to us. made eye contact with bono while we went nuts. he laughed. that man was so on fire last night. awesome.
  4. it's 3:40 in the rainy night and I just returned home from Frankfurt, killing ~240km on the highway.

all I can say about this show is.....

I made it to FOS, 3 meters from the stage, right in the middle. being my 8th 360 show, another new place for me to be -- and this time, the show was not in front of me, I was inside the show. never felt like that. like Dieder (heya catwalk man ) said, it's the end of the world as we know it. in the best way possible.
an awesome, awesome night, is all I can say. so many special moments, so many great moments.... I need to calm down now. after-show high, is what I'm in. thanks U2
  5. good to see the ZooTV style 'hands in the air while jumping to the side' by Bono during stingray

  6. +100000000000000000000
  7. Glad to see you guys had a good time Kirsten and Dieder
  8. No Edge on piano to start NYD:

  9. As always, thanks to U2gigs:

More to come later, I'm sure.
  10. I was digging that envelope filter sound Edge had on his guitar at the beginning of Glastonbury, i'm upset he switched it off! I'm glad to see they're experimenting with the songs though! I hope North Star makes its way back into the set, perhaps with finished lyrics and a full band setup!

Any word on those recordings they were supposedly handing out?

    Alex
  11. Even I was at the show!
