I think I'll be avoiding this site next spring/summer (I'll try, at least) so whatever they play in Toronto will be somewhat fo a surprise.

  3. +1, I was celebrating my 20th birthday (Where the fuck is the Drunk Thread????? that last rum wasn't neccesary at all woopopss) and I missed... but I had a feeling that it wasn't gonna change... I hate to be right in this things.
  4. Back home, pissed as a fart, recording in the can, decent gig.
Special Moment: The dedication to Robert Enke. Lots of people in tears.
  5. Poor guy. Glad to see you "enjoyed" the show, I want to see that moment of surrender. I hope Matt (U2gigs) arrives home soon

Yeah, did you eventually go on bike to the show? hahaha that must be funny.

Seems like North Star is definitely too unfinished to remain in the setlist? I hope it returns in the shape of a great full band song. No more Stuck#2 pleasee
  6. 8am, back home, continuing to work right ahead

what a night. the party down in FOS was great, couldn't have been better. it was perfect.

it's amazing how much of a difference it is for people regarding the setlist if you are actually at the show or just read it here. i didn't mind that they played the same songs as two days ago, I can't expect a rotation of songs every other show. it worked prefectly fine this way -- again -- and I'm happy with this. more than that

again, as I know from last summer, this always depends on where you sit or stand during the show, so no offence to anyone who has a different opinion. For me, it was the best shiow I could have dreamed of. Again. Only U2 can do that to me

    absolutely

ps: I drove a little more than 1,000 kilometers in just 3 days for U2. and people say I'm crazy. don't see why

Glad you enjoyed the gig from your perspective
  8. Just reading U2gigs' Twitter, he was at home at five and about to work a few hours later. Covering U2 is a tough job sometimes, I'll never forget the terrible nights I had after the Barcelona/Dublin shows, no sleep etc.

Glad you enjoyed it It's indeed mostly a matter of where you stand. I'm sure if you had seats behind the stage you thought of this show as the worst show in history.

You also have to work again? Wow, I hope you can stay awake
  10. here few pix more to come later...

it was a fantastic gig but the audience wasnt as good as in berlin last year, in my opinion

I love the new song, it so rocks
  11. What a weird Bono (interesting-weird) intro
to ISHFWILF; but the audience singing the
    first verse was awesome!
