The site of the Italian television RAI is going to broadcast live Luciano Pavarotti's funeral, from 2,50 PM CET.
If anybody is interested in watching it, here's the link: http://www.rai.tv/mpplaymediageneric/0,,News%5E28%5E33746,00.html
Bye!

Originally posted by yeahSomehow I understand if people wanna go to the funeral, although that seems already pretty obscene to me, but watching it on TV?![]()

It's an act of paying tribute in my opinion. At least that is how I feel about it.
Other than that, as I live in Germany, I don't really have the opportunity to just fly over to Italy in order to attend the funeral in person (=standing outside the church), so I gotta take that chance and watch it on television.
Originally posted by germcevoyIt does seem a little wrong though. Just read the topic title. It does sound crazy. Its a funeral, not a sports event or something

Hehe, maybe you're right. But I still have some problems when I use English because very often I can't imagine how things I say sound to other people.
Sorry for the title, anyway.![]()
