If Matt Bellamy made an album on his own, and later a tour, and if I hadn't attended a Muse concert, I would go to that concert with the hopes of cathing some of those songs!! It's similar to what happens with Mark Knopfler. Dire Straits are gone (not exactly split up, they simly vanished as a band) since 1992, and since then MK has released new material (sometimes similar to the Dire Straits music, sometimes not) and toured the whole world - and he has played Dire Straits songs aaaaaall the time. Maybe 5 or 8 per concert, but enough to please the poor people that missed the good old days

So, thanks for the info, Hans, thanks a lot. I might be going then, indeed 30€ is pretty cheap. By the way, the venue's capacity is between 300 and 500 people so I can't relax at all, I think I will buy the tickets tomorrow morning (they went on sale last Friday).

His tour is starting tonight in vegas, I think it will be a good indicication of what he will play later this year (as for U2, the killers weren't so keen on changing their setlist...). Lucky you for that small venue, here it will be one of the biggest venue of the tour with +2,000 people if it's sold-out.... If I find the setlist tomorrow morning should I say SPOILER anywhere?
  2. To be fair to the Killers they only have 3 albums so its like the War Tour, unlike U2 who have over 150 songs to choose from...

Sergio, I think the Killers will definately tour again as The Killers, they aren't splitting up and must love touring, I guess

I think Brandon will be great but will realise its not as fun without the other 3
  3. yeah i wouldn't worry, infact i'd enjoy his solo tour while it lasts 'coz the killers will be back together before you know it.
  4. Thank you all, we're definitely going to the show Nevertheless, I would LOVE to see tonight's setlist before finally buying the tickets (no, we haven't yet ...) . So Arno, PLEASE post it here if you don't mind

Btw, the venue has changed from the Joy theatre (~400 capacity) to the La Riviera concert hall, with a capacity slightly over 2.000. So not small venue anymore
  5. Anyone know the setlist? I've been looking but can't find it, . thanks
  6. Why do people think this is Brandon touring because The Killers don't exist anymore? I read an article where they all stated that they've schedules studio time right after Brandon's mini tour.

  7. Here you are...

    on the floor
    crossfire
    magdalena
    bette davies
    jilted lovers
    something i said
    hard enough
    losing touch
    swallow
    playing with fire

apparently losing touch was played in a new version... Hope it was more like a showcase than the real start of the tour, seems a bit short to me... he's playing another gig tomorrow, hope he will bring at least one more killers'song...
  8. Who are the musicians he's using on tour with him?

  10. No way... ONE Killers song? wtf.......
  11. ^ well, it is a solo tour...

but yeah, that was just a warm up show i'm betting, i'd be surprised if he dared end a proper concert without at least bashing out mr brightside.
