What if they went from stingray, into...."What time is it in the world? 11 O CLOCK, TICK TOCK!"

Amazing idea, I thought it was brilliant. Wouldn't fit the whole theme (if there is one) that well, but it would be kickass.

    Awesome

Everythings better than waiting for 10 seconds to look around if Bono sees someone familiar in the crowd before starting with BD
  3. Is it just me, or did the Vertigo Tour have the most variation in setlists of any tour the band has ever done? I realized last night that I've got 11 full and 1 partial Vertigo show on my iPod...far more than any other tour. The politics may have been a little over the top at times, and they may not have had the best version of every song during the tour...but they sure did get the setlist variation down well. Hopefully they remember that in later legs of this tour, if it's supposed to go into 2012, as rumored.

You are right. The 4 shows I went to,the band closed with 4 different songs in 2005..imagine if that did that now?.And they opened with different songs on Vertigo,Love and Peace,Vertigo,COBL......MOS has closed every show since 2009

I thought the Elevation Tour had some respectable variation in its setlists. Maybe not as much as the Vertigo Tour but many of the performances of many songs (e.g. Streets, WOWY, etc,) were better.

Lovetown was probably more so. They changed that round all the time. I think the stint at the Melbourne Tennis Centre had 4 different openers in a week
  7. I just can't dislike WOWY or Streets on this tour. They're great.

  8. Can't dislike Streets ever!! As for WOWY, Im with you on that one. As Ive said before, I think its great as always
  9. WOWY isn't THAT great, Bono talks a lot instead of singing. And Streets is always fucking fantastic, no doubt about that WOWY will never be what it was on the Joshua Tree tour, Bono gave it all he had during that song in some gigs.
  10. I've really warmed up to WOWY on this third leg so far- wasn't cracked up about the N.A. 2nd leg performances, but it's been great on all the available shows so far.

Streets intro seems back to longer now too, happy about that.
  11. people in the usa will hear a shitload of new songs next year, according to article in RS
