1. REALLY? Post that article! And that makes me very happy that they postponed!

  2. thanks to @u2
  3. Thanks for posting those bud! We all know Bono tends to talk a lot, so my guess is there'll be a few new songs in the set next year, but nothing major. At any rate, again, I'm glad the tour got postponed! I feel like North America will get the best concerts, just like Hawai and Tokyo did on the Vertigo tour.
  4. Appreciate the scans Dieder
  5. this sounds great. thanks dieder. they better release the new album before the next leg cuz im getting really excited!
  6. Just saw the scans. I posted somethings similar on the News topic, but I think it's better when we can read the real thing

    Thanks for that

  7. Dramatically revamped....

The most laughable thing comes from Larry this time. I sometimes really wonder if the live in a parallel universe.
  8. Quote from RS:

"It's so easy to do your hits -- lay it out and everybody goes yippee," Mullen says. "We're not about that. We're about change and taking chances -- and failing. That's what U2 do -- we succeed and we fail. We never do the middle."

so Larry does NOT think this is turning into a greatest hits tour?
  9. Well in fairness they did take pretty risky chances by playing the new songs?

  10. yeah. agree. and also with ditching ultraviolet

  11. O come on, you cant be serious..... they played North Star only once and then its was back to crowd-leaser New Years Day.
  12. But they had the balls to try a song that wasn't even finished to an opening night crowd. And yeh I agree with the dieder that it was risky ditching UV in the encore but I think it worked, sure there are things that got left unchanged but did you really expect an entirely new setlist? And moaning about it isn't going to change things, be grateful that they made those changes at all and that you know them and can hear them the next morning.
