  1. Ok so here's the story, i left Ireland for a month and was in the USA. (waves hello on return )
    I fell in love with this band.
    The similarities between themselves and U2 are often astounding.As a guitarist myself i can say that the playing comes essentially straight from Edge. Their First album 'We Don't Need To Whisper' was very effects laiden essentially like 80's U2 taken to the next level.
    Their next I-Empire is set, whilst still delay based, to be more stripped down, and from what i've heard so far is pretty fucking incredible.
    The Choruses and Chants are really top notch and they're an incredible live band.
    I really urge everyone to check them out, its quite clear that they're aiming for Stadiums and this is a good thing.
    I believe that they'll make it into Stadiums and then U2 won't be the last great band to do so.

    I'm truely excited about their potential.

  2. hey Macphistfly. I see where your coming from. That intro is awesome. Not so keen on his voice though. It's a little too 'blink 182'. I'll keep an eye out though

  4. Yep, I know the and have their album We Don't Need To Whisper.

    It's a nice album but it gets annoying after a while.

    As far as his voice, in the beginning i hated it. But i realised the similarities between himself and Robert Smith of the Cure..

    The Ambition i feel in AvA is the Ambition U2 used to have, contesting for the stadiums instead of just having them.

    To all of U2Start,
    I feel a little sorry for not being on as much but for really good reason, my trip to the US went great. I have an agent and an apartment out in L.A and i'm ready to move there start auditioning for roles in a month.

    Apparently when i move its the height of the year for casting movies, so i imagine so.
    Its a big leap from the Riverside Theatre in 03' to Hollywood haha.
