    I was there too and I think it was really good (it was also the first time I saw them). It's true that they don't talk much, but it's not that I didn't felt connected, the crowd was really going crazy where I stood and the atmosphere was great (although there wasn't enough place to stand). I don't really think there was lack of interaction, I don't necessarily need words to feel it, but I can understand you

    Absolutely brilliant.
    I arrived at the areal at 8:45p.m. and went directly to the main stage to get a good spot. Unfortunately there were Panic! at the Disco playing on the main stage before Muse. They put on a set which started at 9p.m. and lasted for about an hour...and they were catastrophically boring. There was a lot of teenage girls around who clearly enjoyed them, though, screaming, jumping and shouting all the time. Luckily they left after P!ATD finished their set so I could move a bit forward and ended up being around 25 meters from the stage so I had quite a good view.
    Muse started a couple of minutes after 11p.m. Everyone went crazy as hell. The band were playing like they always do, perfectly. The highlights for me were Plug In Baby, Time Is Running Out and Knights of Cydonia (surprise surprise). I've never jumped this much ever before.
    I didn't have chills down my spine a single time, but I must admit I had a great time and enjoyed myself a lot. On the whole, I take this as my very successful dress rehearsal for U2 in Vienna.
    What I have to complain about, though, is the audience and the sound from the PA. There were people pushing their way through the crowd to get out of it during every other song and funnily enough they'd always go past me. About the sound, when Dom played, it all turned into a huge wall of sound and you couldn't really hear anything clearly except for the drums. What's a bit strange is that my brother took some vids with his Nokia E66 and I can hear Matt's voice in them much better than I could at the gig itself. The bass couldn't be heard at all at times, only felt from the ground shaking. Still, a great experience anyway.

    This could be a horrible idea, just a thought. It would definitely be interesting and has potential to be cool.

  9. Also just browsed some setlists and it seems they HAVE opened with Plug in Baby a few times...at least recently. I'm not familiar with their older setlists- did they used to do that? I seriously think it would be grand, the more I think about it.

    I feel like that perfectly describes my feelings on Muse. They're really talented and I enjoy watching them preform, but they just don't do anything more for me. They put on a good show live but they don't take it anywhere else like I feel U2 and Springsteen do. They execute the songs well but that's all that is there in my opinion.

    Thus while I will always enjoy seeing Muse, they'll never be anything more to me than just a good band that I enjoy listening to
