1. Hi everyone, does anyone know what kind of guitar was used on the title track of Zooropa?

  2. Looks like Edge uses a Les Paul in this live version; he rarely varies from live/studio from what I know.
  3. Nice! Thanks for that. One of my favourite tracks.

  4. Actually he does deviate from the studio version.

"In A Little While" was a 50's Stratocaster, per The Edge in the 2001 Guitar Player magazine article.

Yet live during the Elevation tour... he used a Les Paul Custom. He's been using a Gibson Explorer this tour.

"Angel Of Harlem" was a Rickenbacker 330 12-string, yet other than Love Town shows, he's used a Les Paul Custom (mostly).

Edge does experiment. "Dirty Day" was played on a Stratocaster for the Adelaide ZOOTV. Yet for Sydney, he used a Les Paul Custom.

While Edge was seen using the Gretsch White Falcon for "Van Diemen's Land" in Rattle And Hum", he used a Stratocaster during Love Town (Or at least the YouTube clips I've seen)

Another thing to keep in mind is that most songs have more than one track of guitar; more than one guitar part to it. He doesn't use the same guitar on all the parts. And sometimes Danny Lanois is playing along too.

So what is used live can be what was used in the studio (sometimes) but it is not 100% bulletproof of an answer.
  5. I was waiting for you to post here I love your posts, it's great learning bout Edge's guitars

  6. Hahahah... Hi there! Errr... Glad to be of help.
  7. Man, I wish that Zooropa had become a regular live song. It's such a great track and so catchy.
