1. Modified topic title to fit with this current solo interlude...

i still like it, but it's nowhere near as good as crossfire. it'd fit more as a quirky album track - a bit like GNTW - than a single.
  3. Hi guys, I'm not a big Killers fan and Flowers is an ass but I did enjoy his single "Crossfire" when I heard it on the radio yesterday. I've heard the original before, it's even been in a tv commercial. However, I can't find the name of the original artist anywhere online, can anyone help me out? Thanks.

    It's a cover version? I don't think so, at least I hadn't heard it...

  5. I'm very sure that I've heard a different version before Flowers started his solo project. At least the piano, anyway.
  6. Why is Brandon an "ass" ?

Those are just two incidents that showcase his ego's issues. I'm all for rock stars having an ego (even I get the rock/pop ego when I'm performing / discussing music... and I'm not a rock star yet ) but it should be a strength that makes you a more original artist. Flowers' is just off-putting in my eyes.
  8. Nothing wrong with him, in my opinion...

  9. I am quite disappointed by how Flowers solo work is turning out, sounds like completely derivative pop, he clearly works better with the rest of the Killers.

Ive got no problem with him saying what he thinks, hardly offensive is it? I think he seems like a really nice fun guy, a great singer and writer

    Each to their own.
