1. ok so 2 hours of difference tanks
  2. Apparently One and Greenpeaces tables have been closed down. Also, an Amnesty International activist has been arrested.

Greenpeace Russia said this, it was translated through Google btw:

At a U2 concert detained two volunteer organizations Amnesty International and closed all of the information tent, Greenpeace Russia, The ONE Campaign (an international fund to fight AIDS) and Amnesty International (Organization for the Protection of Human Rights).

Policemen said that volunteers staged a picket in front of unlawful concert, although in agreement with ogranizatorami and the administration U2 they were allowed the distribution of information about their organizations.
Bono, leader of the group for many years a supporter of Greenpeace, the efforts of his fund has been established The ONE Campaign, Amnesty volunteers are also always present at a U2 concert with information materials.
At the moment the administration U2 puzzled over the incident, they face similar prohibitions for the first time.

Keep your eyes open, we will publish a photo of zapretiteley, which are also refusing to introduce myself.

UPD1: Delayed volunteers at this moment are in the police department, Bono was informed of the incident.

    Meanwhile, Snow Patrol are on.

It's the Russian freedom... They had freedom just a few years when Jelzin was president...
  4. different country, different culture. gosh, I only hope nothing serious will happen. I mean, activists being arrested is serious enough, no doubt. just.... seeing those soldiers / military people there gives me the creeps
  5. but it's sold out, right?

  6. Give it plenty of time; stadium seats at my gig weren't even half full until about a half hour before U2 (which is soon after Snow Patrol's set), and the place suddenly became PACKED as Kingdom started- people that don't have as much passion chill elsewhere until the actual show is literally starting.

    Bugs me, but eh. Whatever.

Hopefully nothing will happen. I'm really intrigued to follow this show tonight (no offense to other cities), just to see what Bono and the band might say in response, or just in general.
  8. so I'm dumb as always, just to check I'm not missing it.... it's 18:45 here in middle Europe right now.... +2 hours means it's 20:45 in Moscow now? so it's show time soon, right?
  9. Early wager that Sunday Bloody Sunday will be dropped in exchange for Pride again. Too big of a protest song to be played in a tense situation like the one described, but then again, they take some risks...

You never know. They performed Miss Sarajevo live for the first time in Sarajevo, and we all know what a landmark of a concert that was...who knows what they could have in store for tonight. Will be a special gig even with a standard setlist.
