1. Yeah they sound pretty damn awesome, those edited full band versions.

Can't wait to hear what U2 can do with the songs over this year and whether they will become epic full band versions or not. Hopefully the former.
  2. They sound amazing!!! love what they did with North Star...these songs definitely have potential...man,a lot of potential!
  3. I'm really falling in love with EBW. I forget how just wonderfully melodic Bono's voice is. Edge's subtle guitar is just perfect. Just beautiful.

  4. GREAT!

sorry if this is like an ignorant question, but how do I download these versions, so I can then put my mp3 player on endless repeat?

Try vdownloader and rip it from Youtube or just mail the guy and ask him to send the original audio (as Youtube always makes it worse) to you
  6. I like the EBW version, but i think the North Star is a little bit to full with sound if you understand what i mean

The cover of Glastunbury is really fantastic. I hope U2 will put in on their new album, would love to hear it as a single from the real U2.
I think Bono can sing it better than this guy, but still he s doing a great job
  7. I LOVE Glastonbury, but North Star and Every Breaking Wave to me both need a LOT of work to make them great. The lyrics are a bit trite and Edge's guitar is a bit overly familiar. The songs desperately, in my opinion, need some atmospheric "Unforgettable Fire" album-ish sounds rather than just being spare acoustic songs.

    It works! Cool, thanks!
  9. His effort with Glastonbury and EBW is much, much better than how he massacred NS. His voice ruins Glastonbury though...
  10. i think his full band covers r pretty cool i just wana see what direction u2 take them in
