  1. Hey, cause I like travelling, I was wondering this:

    1.What’s the most beautiful country you've visited?
    2.What countries would you like to visit in the future? (where you’ve never been before)
    (hope this topic doesn't exist already )

    My answers:
    1.For me it would be Scotland, really a beautiful country, lots of nature (forest, mountains, lakes, the sea, ...) but also culture: everywhere you look are castles or ruins (and for some strange reasons I love ruins) + lovely villages (like Applecross ), it has something magical. Only midgets can be annoying
    2.Ireland (and that was even before I came a U2 fan), United states of America (especially the national parks like Sequoia, Redwood, Joshua tree , Death valley, Yellowstone, Grand canyon, Olympic park, way too much), Greece, New-Zealand, China, Wales, Norway, … actually the whole world.
  2. Sounds odd but must say United States is by far the best country I ever visited. Been all over the East and West Coast (New York, Boston, DC, SF, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles, all the National Parks, Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls) I just loved it all....

    Want to go up north once to see Chicago and the great lakes. I also would like to make a trip down the south by visiting Alabama, Tennesee, Georgia, Missisippi....
  3. Most beatiful i would say Sicilly, I liked the whole hilly parched countryside, felt kinda blissful and untouched. I feel kinda quility for only seeing up to Edinburgh in Scotland, but i'll see more soon enough.

    Country I want to visist? I've never left Europe so doing that would be a start, though I really want to see Germany, especially areas in the south.
  4. Of course, for you, Scotland is all beautiful. For me, it's boring. Nothing to do. We have the fringe (which I think has just finished, which is good cos I hate it) and the festival it's self (which I don't think has finished). It's a very touristy place, I know but still, as a teenager, there is absoutely nothing to do. But btw, you should all come to a U2 concert in Scotland the next time we have one

    But the most beautiful place I've visited - Sorrento, Italy. Surrounded by some beautiful places - Rome, Naples, Pompeii.

    Country I'd like to visit in the future - Well I've already been to the USA but that was only really Orlando, Florida. I would like to visit New York, California, Chicago, Boston and Las Vegas. Also would like to explore Florida extensively to places like Tallahassee, Miami and Jacksonville.
  5. 1. Id have to go with Chicago. I have never seen anything that monumental in my whole life. Too bad the Chicago dvd is kinda crap.
    2. Im going to live in England for next nine months. So I'm pretty excited about that country right now. As for other places I really wanna go back to States and get to see the other big cities such as LA, NY, LV, ...

    yea I'm not a big fan of nature (I know I'm a terrible person) and not a big fan of travelling in general either. I just like a bit of adventure...
  6. 1. I am undecided between Scotland and Switzerland. Scotland because of the beautiful Highlands and the great city of Edinburgh, a piece of my heart stayed there after I visited those places. Switzerland because of basically the same reasons - mountains and a city. Alps are beautiful, but Geneva at night, man, that is something words can not describe (that goes for the local prices as well ). Here's a photo I took there:


    I also greatly enjoyed my two-week stay in Cambridge.

    2. I'd love to go to the United States and see all those Americas. The big cities of the East Coast, The Great Plains, The Lakes, all the way to the West Coast. Another country I am keen on visiting is Iran, and also some Arabic country (Saudi Arabia perhaps), I am rather fascinated by islamic and arabic cultures. Generally I am a person who enjoys travelling very much, there is so much to see out there.
  7. 1 most beautiful country I've been to (5 times and counting) is Ireland. it has all I love, the landscape, the people, the "feeling" about it when I'm there. I can't explain, I can only say it's the most beautiful place on Earth for me.

    2. I'd love to visit New Zealand one day. It's really far off from where I live but I hope I can go there one day.

  9. Despite my "short" age, I've visited many more countries that I thought I'd do...

    But my favorite is still Turkey, specially the almighty and hypnotic Istanbul.

    The answer to question 2. is obviously Eire.

    slovenie ...we crossed it when we drive to croatia and it looks amazing ...
    and i always wanted to travel to Ireland and Egypt ...

    I can understand you, but if you live in a country like Belgium… (not that there aren’t nice places here, just not so spectacular as in Scotland for instance )
