1. This topic is making my feet itch so badly. I love travelling, more than just about anything. I don't think I could pick just one of the places I've been as the 'most beautiful', especially as I think I live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Here's one from Byron Bay, a couple of hours down the road. Nowhere really does beaches like Australia does...

But there are so many places I love. Here's one from England's Lake District a few years ago:

Cordoba, Spain. The water gardens at Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. Cordoba is the most extraordinary place, layered with history and yet very much not a museum.

Sevilla, Spain. The view over the city from the bell tower of Seville Cathedral.

Bath, England. The Roman baths. I adore Bath, and had such a wonderful time there.

Dublin, Ireland. There's just something about the place.

And last, but sure as hell not least, New York City. I'm so excited to be going back there in a couple of weeks.

  2. Woow great pictures of Scotland and Ireland

To throw in an 'exotic' here a picture from Macedonia, Ohrid. Where i stayed for 3 weeks with 25-30 degrees and lots of sun. I want to go back

Pictures dont do much justice, but thats what you get when you never take pictures

Here another one, just before it lightning started (old picture):

To bad i cant find any better
  3. Oh yes, the scenery of Glen Coe is just magical.
  4. all great pictures! too bad summer has come to an end

indeed it is you've been there too?
  5. 1. Can I nominate my home country? Enlgland has superb countryside and national parks (Plus I've not been abroad)

    2. Would love to visit Italy, somewhere cold like Denmark/Sweden/Finland, Russia, Germany, Australia, USA, Cuba, Switzerland.

oh yes you can I mean you have places like Lake and Peak district!
Last year i went to the south coast and it was really nice! Great views, villages and very friendly people
  8. Great topic

    1. Croatia ! It's got all the beauty and culture that a visitor wants, but it's still not that touristic (like Spain, Italy...) and really not that expensive. Loved the hundreds of islands and somehow i felt totally "free" there
I'll look for some pictures later on, but i remember it seemed i just wasnt able to take some good ones...

    2. Ireland ! But just for the nature and all, don't need to see Dublin in particular or so...

  9. Well, I will be heading out to distant pastures soon. Not as easy to travel when you live on an island lol, I mean Scotland, Wales and Ireland are freely available and have some great places to visit but if I lived in mainland Europe it would be even easier to travel around.

Indeed, the south is really nice, especially down towards Cornwall. Some great cities and some great arcitecture all over the country. Not sure I'd agree about the people Depends where you visit lol

  10. Yeah, last year I went on a trip around Great Britain with my grandparents and we had a stop there, too.
