absolutely +1,it happens to us a lot of times too (it's even better when you know that Spanish radios barely play any U2 at all - but we seem to tune up everytime a U2 song is being aired )... we have a good laugh at it . . . .
  2. In the pub before the Guns N Roses concert came on and City Of Blinding Lights, Still Haven't Found and Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses came on I only noticed Still Haven't Found because of the bass line above all the crowd noise

I Still Haven't Found is played every day at the same hour (between 8:05 and 8:20 AM) in the Kiss FM station, it's some kind of tradition. Other from that, you rarely find U2 stuff being aired. Streets and SBS are rare but appear more often than Vertigo...
  5. When I was in the car in Florida, I heard I Still Haven't Found about 10 times in the 2 weeks on the radio. Can't remember what radio station it was though.

ah, oke than I must have had some luck with the radio stations i guess
  7. I haven't heard Vertigo on the radio in years. Whenever there's big U2 news that causes them to get played on the radio, its Mysterious Ways and Beautiful Day.

Couple more variety-based radio stations will dig into Desire, Angel of Harlem, Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Streets, and I've even heard God Part II on this one radio station that plays realllllly great cuts as opposed to really popular ones (XRT, if Maura is reading )

    hahaha
  9. I work in a supermart and every week i hear Stuck and Sweetest thing, i dont really like these 2 songs, but its better than the other songs (Dutch songs) they play there.
  10. Twice in a row last week, or week before I heard U2 unexpectedly. First was hearing "Out Of Control" on a film called Intermission, wasn't watching the film just happened to turn over at the right time. Then I heard "Beautiful Day" on a film called Bandits a few days later.

The most unexpected occurence was when I watched Africa Goals, record on a Sky TV channel called Vox Africa. Basically a roundup of the goals from the african football leagues. The first match was involved some Egyptian sides and the background music for the highlights was none other than "Seconds". Stunned I was.
  11. In the car today, "U2 Free Zone", turns on radio, hear both still haven't found and with or without you
  12. Just remembered. I was in my local video games store a few months ago and I heard U2 coming over their speakers. I definitely remember Beautiful Day being played but it wasn't the album version, it was a live track. Don't think their was a snippet at the end but it was almost certainly a bootleg or something.
