It takes half the effort basically, I just noticed it at the very beginning with your opening chords and you go ta-ta-tatata and the last three are all kind of rushed then. Just to get into the feel of it. It's an odd song to play on guitar and sing as well because the chord rhythm is kind of staggered a bit.

Couldn't find a specific topic for U2 covers that's separate from covers by members on here, so thought I'd post this pretty impressive cover of Desire. Wasn't keen on the voice at the start, sounded forced but it grew on me by the end of the song. Lovely guitar tone, nice rhythem on drums, great snippet thrown in towards the end.

It's not me by the way. If it's out of place here could you please direct me to a dedicated U2 cover thread?

WOW. i think this is the closest sound i've heard by a u2 cover band.

even though they don't LOOK like u2, they sound VERY MUCH like them, at least in this video.

the singer sounds EXACTLY like 1986, conspiracy of hope bono. enjoy!

^ that cover of WILATW makes me think the real U2 are missing out on a blinder of a live song, it's so anthemic and energetic.

EDIT: this cover is also phenominal, they should replace WOWY with it on the 360 encore.

And Sergio...a personal request, since I did not want it to end in the medley... Can you do a full cover of Acrobat? I think it sounds so...stripped and bare, the way you played that portion of it. I like the way Bono hides and darts behind the rest of the band during the verses, etc., but I really enjoy the way you sing it.

If you're interested, of course...it would be very enjoyable to hear! And I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who thought so
