    Not too sure either. He might mean that the stadiums emptied during the song rather than after it.


  4. It was widely reported on each individuals show's thread on here, during the US leg, that "Moment of Surrender" had people heading for the door.

    More Americans now than ever print out the setlists and bring it along for the show so they know when their favorites are going to be played. Seen it at at least 3 big shows in the past 2 or so years.

    Bono only names 1 politician, very shortly : Egemen Bagis, Minister for "EU affairs and chief negiator". Is that a reason for booing ? Waw, people are mad quickly those days... And not only the Turks then, reading that some people think it's a good reaction.
    Good thing there wasn't a Vertigo-show in Istanbul.

    I think the traffic jam will be more likely then.
    Although probably only a minority of the people actually suffered from it.

    So... Weird.


  7. Impossible. Only 1% of the audience checks the setlists (the internet nerds), that's why the band has to keep the setlist rather stale and play the classics...

  9. Leaving early if you know what's coming is fair game, especially if you are driving. I left 1 of the shows I saw early in order to catch a bus. WOWY and MOS weren't worth the 5 hours of my time that it would have cost me had I stayed. I've only sawy 1 guy at a show with printed a setlist. He had Croke 1 and Croke 2 printed and was able to time his beer and toilet breaks very well.
  10. I've never seen anyone with a setlist in the audience. But when I don't tape, I tend to outflank the usual suspects by toilet and beer breakes, too.

    I'm with Matt. I'd say maybe a 10 or 20% of the audience. In the last shows I've attended, lots of non-hard die fans knowing more or less the whole setlist of the concert, sometimes even better than me or some other people that are more "into" the bands. There's no need to be an internet nerd to Google "Bon Jovi setlist 2010" or to ask in Yahoo Questions "What songs is Coldplay playing this tour?"... The internet nerds nowadays are the ones who follow the setlists each day to see if something's changed, who watch videos just for an anecdote or a snippet, or who download bootlegs 3 days after the show. But I don't think someone who googles a setlist 5 hours before his show is a nerd anymore.
