1. There will be variation tomorrow, my only hope is that they aren't going to say, "Okay! Let's change things up! Switch "Elevation" and "Until the End of the World", play "New Years Day" instead of "Every Breaking Wave", "Ultraviolet" instead of Batman, and guys- lets do 23 tonight- "Pride in the Name of Love!!!"

Well, let's hope for a Helsinki treatment instead of a Horsens one...
  3. Just poped into this tread, was there a live transmission somewhere? Will the be tomorrow too??? Would really like to listen.
  4. Lot of the gigs in Leg 1 were 22 songs. No biggy. And the did drop BD as first main song.

  5. It would be much appreciated. I'm heading out; if they close with Mercy and I miss it, so be it. I'll grab the bootleg
  6. ah well, tomorrow's another day
  7. old wisdom concerning U2 concerts: "when a city gets two U2 concerts in a row, you should always attend the second concert" Tomorrow will likely have one or two surpises.

that's why I'm glad to attend Brussels 2 this year...

That is true, and lucky you! Amsterdam I last year was great, thoguh - even though Bad was only played the second night.

I hope tomorrow does, but, and I haven't rechecked the set lists in a while but i saw them opening leg of vertigo in LA and i remember the opening night set list being better than the second...anyway i figured if they were going make any major changes it would have been after that big layoff they just had(big for the middle of a tour anyway) and if it doesn't fly live, with an audience then they could go back to what works to deliver a solid show for that city before they move on...hmm a bunch of shows much closer together coming up, maybe they will hit that vertigo tour stride of really trying different things after playing the same 30 songs in much the same way for 50 concerts. Although popmart hardly changed, the zoo tour had the zooropa songs to not only take the place of older ones but even changed the tone, feel and the bands delivery for those later shows...they're close to something here, maybe they still haven't found the new feel or direction of the band since vertigo tour, as what apparantly happened on NLOTH album...I still believe though.

  10. At least they played EBW again, and switch BD for Magnificent. LEts hope there are more suprises tonight

    EDIT: Great opening of COBL
  11. Mothers of the Disappeared into Walk On coming from the stadium according to Matt from u2gigs.

Oh, and North Star full band.
