  4. I was watching C4 (a music channel bak home here) and they had a countdown of the top ten over ten years stadium anthems.. starting from 1979-1989.. guess which one it was for '87?
    I'll give you a hint it was on top of a liquer store roof!

  6. was just watching the Ireland rugby match there and whenever there was a try scored Elevation came on over the PA. The crowd was giving it the 'whooo wooo'

  9. Half on topic, not in concrete but on DVD/TV:

    I had bought a 5 DVD set about the (early) history of Rock & Roll, from the 50's onward. Nothing on the cover about U2 or Bono, so big surprise when less then 3 minutes into the first DVD there was a soundbite from Bono and a clip of With or Without you. There were soundbites throughout the 10 hour series and of course more of U2 towards the end (early 90's).

    When we were done we switched to TV for an evening with Dutch tabletennis star Bettine Vriesekoop. She introduced her favorite musician Leonard Cohen by showing bits of Bono's praise for him, taken from I’m Your Man.

    Program finished, time to zap. Fell in the middle of an iPod documentary. Within 3 minutes... you get it

    yup tui. I very unconvincing 32-17 victory over a tricky Nambia. It's a win abd the bonus points are in the bag
