1. LOL!

Bono and his damn "Oh oh" parts.. He just has to get them in somewhere..

Reminds me of when he had his "knees" period.

  2. Excellent, thanks!

I've cut out the intro, added a fade in and out, and the information should all be added to the file (album, artwork, etc.) I was not sure about the venue, so I just called it "ABC Studios" to be safe... and the album artwork pic I found via Google.

    indeed.

The song sounds good, but that singer is really struggling with it. Bono can deliver a way better performance.
  5. Awesome song. Hope u2 plays it someday. I think i like it on first listen more than everything new they've played except for Every Breaking Wave.
  6. The singer guy's voice is horrible compared to Bono...

  7. There was a recordoing of it on youtube, played by U2. Can't find it anymore. Yes, the guy's terrible - it's not just the voice: it's the attitude etc. This is very much a U2 song, as far as I'm concerned. I hope they include it in the new album, or in whatever they're going to realize next.
  8. So, I was listening to Dirty Day in the car driving to school today - and Edge's solo at the end of if is exactly the same as the main riff in Boy Falls From the Sky - just more distorted and funky while the BFFTS is more clean mainstream and rocky. Seriously go listen and see.

I was trying to think of which riff it was they'd recycled! I think you're absolutely right.

  10. I saw Carney play at Byron Bay a couple of Bluesfests back, maybe 2009. They were pretty good, a bit theatrical and impressed with themselves, but not without talent. I'm sure this connection with U2 will do things for them that otherwise would never have happened.
  11. Really disappointed by this.
