  1. UV was great yesterday, certainly the best 2010 one !
  2. Great show, great atmosphere! Still exhausted but with a very happy smile on my face today!

    It’s funny how, after all the ‘setlist-bitching’ that I myself are sometimes guilty off on these forums (“guilty your honour, but it still IS a ‘greatest hits’ tour…”), you forget about all that the minute you hear Stingray going into Beautiful Day! The sheer excitement and arousal of being at a U2 gig again makes you forget the pittyfull moaning instantly!

    What a night we had, what great spirits and good fun! Walking from the car to the stadium, together with 50.000 other friendly people, buying ourselves some Belgium ‘Friet met mayonaise’ (chips) and picking a nice spot on the field, all contributes to getting in that very special mood/ state of mind that for me is unique to a U2 concert. From there on it’s all good…. I Will Follow, UTTEOTW, Miss Sarajevo, the “Belgium Homecoming”- speech at the start of ISHFWILF, its U2 in great form and in a real Flow. You can taste they are really having fun and they are not ‘doing their duty’ by thrashing out hits, but genuinly enjoy playing these particular songs they chose… well maybe not on SBS, but even that song gave me goosebumps because of the images on the screen and the added lyrics.

    Hearing North Star and Mercy live was incredible!!! And I never thought I would hear myself say that, as far as Mercy is concerned………but somehow all the pieces fell into place.
    Highlights didn’t stop after that: UV is phenomenal, and the prolonged ooooooh ooooooohh after With Or Without You maximised the Goosebumps again: the band took a bath in the audience at that time, taking extra time to savour the moment and receive the roaring applause.
    Moment of Surrender finally, has surpassed Love is Blindness as a showcloser. (again, never thought I would hear myself say that!!)

    What I night, what a show, what a band! Who cares about the traffic jam afterwards? It helps to hang on to the brilliance of the U2-experience as long as possible!
    Still exhausted, but……Thank God I have another opportunity tonight!!

  6. Yes, Thanks for for the review but now it gets me into trouble, I was expecting to leave during WOWY but after reading your post I'm doubting about it... Except , Hold me, what can we expect as changes tonight?

  10. Great concert! loved the Belgium-speech , the ooooooh oohhh's after WOWY.
    Better then Wembley 1 (yeah it was only my second U2 show so i don't have a lot to compare it to :p)
    I saw U218singels standing a few people in front of me + people i saw on the news that were already standing there from 10:00 only 1.5m in front of me :p
