  5. We were home at 20.10 today...Seen yesterday's concert and it was amazing (better voice than last year in the Arena).
    Indeed the "Belgian speech" and the part after WOWY : very special.

    Today we were doing a bit sightseeing in Brussels and we walked past the Amigo hotel and there were fences being set...
    that was 10.45 this morning...They told us U2 were coming out of the hotel to sign autographs at 15.00, so after we waited a while we
    decided to go eat and drink somewhere else. Later on we came back and between 15.30 and 15.45 they came out!
    Wow...never been so close! No autographs, but being just a a yard away from Edge, Adam and Bono...

    By the way : after the movie I made from The Edge, my batteries from the camera died so the other two were made with my cell....

  6. I get really sick of the continuous Rain references by Bono. The Beatles "Rain" snippet is great but adding Singing In The Rain to 3 songs is just a bit...
  7. Just back home from this fantastic gig, I enjoyed it much more than Croke I last year... It's a shame we didn't get EBW or another new one but bad and AoH made my night... Special thx to U2joost for his advice not to leave during WOWY... i didn't do it and had the chance to hear the shine like stars snippet... what a night,
    oh and I just heard Brandon flowers covered if god will send... in Dublin...

  9. Maybe tonight was the good night to change your mind... 5 years ago it was my worst U2 gig here in brussels but after tonight, it's just so different...
  10. I'm walking down the lane, with a happy refrain. Just SINGING, just SINGING IN THE RAIN! What a show folks.

    Epic performances of AoH and Bad. Bad was epic, the band stopped, Bono wanted to play on, sang the snippet and then the band just played that riff again. Woah. And we got Pride, so great!

    Hold Me wasn't spot on though, but hey, I heard Ultraviolet yesterday, so caaree

    Also, great transition into streets with Bono playing some guitar at the intro.

    And we got Shine Like stars !

    Really fun when Edge struggled on Elevation, Bono with his champagne orgasm at the end of Vertigo (love the snippet bytheway)...
  11. Just back from Brussels... and it was amazing (but way too short!)
    The claw was really impressive, and the lightshow was beautiful
    I really enjoyed the concert, and ofcourse hearing Bad and AoH was a nice surprise!
    Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me was rather weak imo, but who cares: I had a fantastic night! Thankyou U2!
    and also thanks belgianbono, I had a great night! (altough you maybe didn't noticed )
