  3. Experienced it with a Passengers song a few weeks ago.


    Theme From Let's Go Native: Incredible. Love everything about it, the bass, the drups, the vocals. Just Perfect. Said it before, say it again, drop Stingray and get this thing in! I only used to be into Passengers for the usual suspects and never gave the others songs much chance, particularly the "Theme from..." songs. But I'm not quite sure why Let's go Native was disregarded because now, I rate it as one of the best tracks not only from Passengers, but the 90's.

    Seriously, if you want to get into Passengers a bit more, then Theme From LEt's Go Native should be a first port of call.

    And as a sidenote, I just started listening to "Theme from The Swan" to see how it compared. Pretty damn emotional in my mind, beautiful track. I guess it's just clicked. And the background noises, sounds a bit like rain, perfectly bouncing off the image of the rain droplets falling down my window.

    Probably how it happened for me, I used to generally accept Miami, would go out of my way to listen to it, but wouldn't skip it either. Then after hearing it played at Roundhay, I couldn't get the lyrics out of my head and nowadays I tend to find myself singing it in my head more than I used to and would actually go out of my way to hear it.

    I always thought it was a kick ass song and it is my favorite U2 song (not the best... but my favorite); I gained so much more respect for it after reading in U2 By U2 that it was about "getting off".

  9. i was in spain in august and had a really good time with the wife and kids , havin a few beers on the bacony at night talkin with the kids and beautiful day came on and just sumed up the day ,,i never disliked the song b4 it just dident fit anything that was going on in my life like it did that day so every time i hear it now it takes me back to graet time i had getting closer to my 2 boys ,,,.
