P-90's are humbucker size. They are also single coil pickups. I think that the P-94's are single coil also. They won't sound as dark and rich as a humbucker but the P-90 sound (and assuming it's upgraded P-94 counterpart) do offer some great tones. Think "Billie Joe" from Green Day. I believe P90's are a bit smaller, which is why a lot of guys buy the 56 epi goldtops, then they have to rout the wood a bit to fit humbuckers in.

But yeah P90's are awesome. I used to own a les paul that had them in (can't remember the model or the brand) and I loved em'. They're basically like a humbucker and a strat single coil put together, at least that's how I hear em'. Excited to get them!
