1. (Sorry just edited my post, wanted to say something about Holland as well )
It really was very enjoyable from both sides yeah
But to answer your 2nd question... Probably no
  2. Our results are good, but normally we play so boring, but this game was great with Van de Vaart as the man of the match imo
To bad Belgium isnt going to be on the EC, you have some good players

True, the typical attractive football Oranje brought is gone now...
But many countries would trade that for a 2nd place at the WC

Hmm it's still possible... We're playing as a team again so i'm hopeful for the future! If it isn't for the EC in 2012, then the WC in 2014 should work
  4. England cant even beat Montenigro

Sack Capello so we can have Joe Cole.
  5. Don't know what to make of this, other then that we the Finns should probably stick to Ski-jumping

October 1997. WCQ. Last game. Finland leading 1-0 against Hungary. Need to hold on to reach play-offs.
    Then, in stoppage time:

October 2010. ECQ. Finland have just tied the game against Hungary and go rabidly after the winner that would keep our Euro2012 hopes alive.
    Then, in stoppage time:

Oh, U2 played here both in 1997 and 2010. Coincidence....?

Last night it was back for 60 minutes or so. But yeah we could book our hotel in Ukraine already so nothing to complain about

  7. ...kinda like this really....

1981 was an interesting year, Prince Charles got married, liverpool were crowned champions of Europe. Australia lost the Ashes and the Pope almost died.
2005 was also an interesting year, Prince Charles got married, liverpool were champions of Europe again, Australia lost the Ashes again and the Pope died.
Lesson learned - the next time Charles gets married get your money on a awesome treble and don't warn the Pope.
  8. Manchester United 2-2 West Bromwich Albion, another great result for the Baggies and still 6th
    BOING BOING
  9. WBA 2 -1 Fulham, 4th in the league, havin a laugh, BOING BOING

Bet you were buzzing after last weekend?

Just another shout out for Norwich, great result today, 1-0 over Boro, keeps us in the top 6 of the Championship!

  11. How's it going mucker ?

Sort of,it's just another 3 points against a relegation threatened team to be honest,we need to start beating teams around us now and not worry about the teams who will remain in the bottom half of the table if we are to sustain a chance of European qualification (read that first bit with a hint of sarcastic value ) The classic was Woy Hodgson claiming after the game, that that was the best performance that they had played under him,I think that was his version of Stand Up Comedy As per usual,Jakielka had Lady Boy Torres in his back pocket,Arteta ran the show until he went off.Gerrard is not in his class, didn't get a kick of the ball for the first 10 minutes, hence stamped on Arteta's foot, which caused him to go off in the end and miss the Spurs game yesterday.

There is a sign at John Lennon Airport in Liverpool that reads ..'..Above Us Only Sky..' that has now been changed to '..Below Us Only West Ham..'......

Been following The Canaries like I said I would, just need to keep the momentum going to stay in and around the play-off places,QPR look nailed on though for going up even at this early stage....
