    But no one will beat the 'Rage Against The Machine for Christmas Number 1' group. Brilliant thing is, it actually happened.
  3. They're actually trying to get 4 minutes, 33 seconds of silence to the top of the charts this Christmas.
  4. It's not the x factor christmas single it's a mid-november charity 'Cowell wants a knighthood' bandwagon jump that makes it even worse.

    Cowell's already killed Hallelujah and Everybody Hurts, he doesn't have to murder every classic that comes to mind.

    I thought there was an identical thing done back in the 50s by John Cage - called 4:33 (with one single note), or is this the same thing?

    He's 25% of what's wrong with the industry. Then others took note from him and his '25% wrongness' changed to 100%.

    The 4'33 'song' is a great idea though. It really does open you up to the sounds around you.

  12. It's about as entertaining too. Although you know something like this is gonna sell like anything, but I'd personally prefer to give my money to some charity instead and more.
