  1. A week or two ago I was in a McDonalds, and the cover of Instant Karma came on the radio.

    Now that was weird.
  2. Was reading a book about this guy growing up in Dublin, hot shot with girls and whatnot and is asked to audition for a musical he went to just to have a look at the talent there. The director asks him and his friends to sing anything, so they go up on stage a start singing Discotheque a cappello and the crowd goes nuts during the BOOM-CHA! BOOM-CHA! Discotheque!! lol Also some frequent chants of Daddy's Gonna Buy You A Brand New Car at his rugby games

    I was going to say, my ringtone is from Batman, "You don't know how you took it/You just know what you've got/Lordy you've been stealing from the thieves and you got caught"...and it does the rest of the verse, too, but I almost always let it play through that part before I answer just cause I love it so much. And I was with a random group of people last night and I'm used to people not knowing what that song is, and my phone rang and when I answered, one of the guys just kept on singing the song where it left off...was pretty cool!

  6. At work we are always listening to a radiostation called Veronica because they air a lot of U2 songs. When Streets or Elevation starts (daily) even my collegue says (and she is not a fan 'bouncy-time' , and last week I heard her humming and thought, mmhh that sounds familiar, when I asked her what she was humming she said; that's that song you are always singing.....which is Mercy , thought it was funny, I turn my collegue into a U2 fan and she doesn't even notice

    I was questioning why they chanted "Daddy's Gonna Buy You a Brand New Car"...is it in reference to DGPFYCC on Zooropa?
  8. Was on the music channels and I got to Q and it was '99 Greatest Albums of the 90s' and Numb came on. Zooropa was 10th.

  11. VERY VERY ODD that this post was on the top when I came home. Just listened to UTEOTW on the radio tonight. I was about to shit my pants. I've never heard it on the radio before. Great surprise for me after I got pulled over for running a red light (bogus ticket because I was in the intersection when the light was still yellow). Thanks boys! Ya cheered me up tonight!
