1. I'm glad U2 is making a club record because that would be one of the rare times I would hazard a listen to that genre.

  2. SBS, Pride, WOWY, ISHFWILF, Streets, Mysterious Ways, One, Beautiful Day, Vertigo.

Where would U2 be without these songs?

especially without a song like One, they wouldn't even have sold that many copies of Achtung.

Add Saints and Windows to it as well, great (succefull) singles.

  4. I sadly agree. Lots of people (in Spain at least) think that U2 quit after Saints Are Coming, since it's the last big hit they've heard from them. Sad, sad, sad.

Window In The Skies was a great song - I really liked it a lot. Which was the reason I couldn't wait for the three different single versions of it to come out.

A club record does sound interesting. Although I wonder if Bono's definition of 'club' is something like Do You Feel Loved or the remix of Crazy Tonight.
  6. Keeping in mind that Bono defines himself as Punk Rocker, a Club Album will probably consist of 12 Magnificent-esque tracks...

I'd rather it contain 60 minutes of silence but that's just me.

Those were quite popular in Canada as well. Electrical Storm went to #1 here too.

I'd love to hear that, but I believe we'll get songs like Get On Your Boots, Do You Feel Loved or some crazy thing similar to the Crazy Tonight Remix

I quite like Get On Your Boots. It ain't a punk rocker by any means but it is catchy.
  11. Hmm well, didn't Bono say NLOTH was going to be a Dance-album...
So i'm not buying the Club-thing now

  12. "I told somebody I thought it was a dense record and word got around that we were making a dance record." - Bono
