Thing with U2 is, like any other band really, general listeners will only recognise singles and with U2 it's more recent singles (Beautiful Day onwards) and singles from The Joshua Tree. I always sit in the car wanting to request something like "Staring At The Sun" when they have the all request shows and I'm not sure how many would immediately say "This is U2".
