  1. After Frankfurt I'll start to edit a multicam for Helsinki II, then take a lil detour and make Munich, and then come back to do Helsinki I (and then likely Athens, too, yet - if nobody steps forward in the meantime to say HEY I'LL DO IT!)


    I already have got quite some sources and am going through youtube at the moment, sending out messages and getting positive replies already.

    Yet, if you also filmed something (preferably in HD) please contact me so we can make something great for these tremendous concerts.

    Also, it would be great if someone could help me with the audio for Helsinki II (and later Helsinki I): There are 2 audience recordings by heartland and corenol, and 1 IEM by u2seek.
    I got permission from u2seek that his source can be used for a matrix in order to make a good audio together with heartland's and/or corenol's recording(s). Messages are sent out to them to ask for their permission to use their audio

    I'll post drafts/previews here once there are.


    As of now, please help to collect sources .
  2. Is here anyone who still has some footage to share for Helsinki? I want to finish collecting footage during the next week, so hurry up if you haven't sent already or know someone who has something. PS: Today was a good day for Munich and Helsinki I.

    While waiting for more answers from youtube users (regarding videos for Helsinki I+II, and Munich - if u r watching and have filmed something at those concerts, plz contact me) I did a rough draft for I Will Follow with the videos I already got.

    This might not be the final edit.

    Sadly I don't have as many videos as I had for Frankfurt (for some songs I only have 2-4 cameras while for others 5+) but it's gonna be neat anyway .

    The audio source for this is Bono's IEM (Thank you to *don't know if he allows mentioning his name here but will very likely be replaced by a audio matrix of this IEM with an audience source to have a better concert-feeling.

    Thank you to everybody who contributed to this so far by sharing their videos with me!!!!
    PS: it's funny to see yourself filming while everybody around you is jumping .
  4. I Will Follow has proved itself to be the song in which most people goes crazy. Even more than Streets. Brutal

    PS. Regarding your PS, I find it annoying the incredibly high amount of people who prefer watching the shows through his camera than living it through his eyes and his senses. Not necesarely meant for you, since you are a known taper after all (where would we be without you all?), but the thousands and thousands of amateur recorders who just spend the 2 hours behind a camera, or in front of a mobile phone screen... So sad. I'm glad to be in the (minority) who spend it jumping up and down and up and down

    Yes...I Will Follow in Athens was INCREDIBLE.

    I agree with you, that is why I only record some songs when I have GA. For stands I actually prefer filming *g*.
    What I hate is when ppl hold their cams up all the time and interfere your view, or when they film and jump around as this video will be totally useless to watch as it is not watchable *g*.

    Oh, and my PS was meant as "There you go folks, I lack the concert feeling for the sake of the multicam memory lol"
  6. Agree and heartfully agree. If you film, stay calm and film. If you enjoy, stay...well, enjoy as hard as you can ... But do not try to do both things!!
  7. In about 2 weeks time I'll start to edit Helsinki II (and after that prolly Athens, then Helsinki I).
    I already got sources for the Helsinki concerts, but in order to make the most perfect mix I'm asking here if someone has recorded something (in HD only please) and would like to contribute his/her recordings.
    You'd be credited of course.

    You can download the audio in MP3 on the show pages here I guess and in flac over at u2torrents.com. The audio used for Helsinki II is the IEM "Tale of four brothers" by U2seek.
