1. It isnt
  2. Sounds like a gimmick to promote a new tour. U2 announce a new tour, they win. Bon Jovi announce a new tour, they win.
  3. Do to lack of anything better to do, I'm making a video of trains, and hoping to use a U2 song for the music.

    Which songs would work well?

These are freight trains between 15-50 cars, made up predomintly of boxcars, and chemical hoppers. The locomotives are predomintly EMD models of 70s vintage.

Also, btw, it is snowing here.

When Love Comes to Town? (gonna catch that train)

only thing I can think of..
  5. Depends what sort of film it's going to be I suppose. The music will generally decide the mood. Maybe something from Passengers/Unforgettable Fire to create an atmospheric/dark feel. That's the image I get when I think of freight trains running in a snowy setting. It's also very dark outside here so that kind of has an influence on my imagination.

    EDIT:

Quick google search to find an image of my imagination:

This image for example maybe more suited to something like "Theme from The Swan" rather than "Vertigo"

Not trying to make a film so much, as just practice my filming skills. I live near a small rail yard, so trains are as good a thing as any to film.

I don't know why, but I think ASOH would work well.

On a random note, I have considered applying to various railroads several times since graduating from High School. Being a locomotive engineer seems like it would be one of the better jobs one could get without going to college.

Also, it ain't that snowy here.

I'd love to work on the railway.

ASOH live version would work well, problem is getting hold of a performance that has little crowd.

EDIT: Well I don't know what it's like there. If it's a light dusting of snow with blue skies, then of course something upbeat would work better than something slow.

Crowd ain't that bad in WAIA version.

Its a light snow, but its very cloudy out.

In Michigan you can count on getting every kind of snowy day imaginable before spring comes.

Really cool mix version of ASOH I just found.
