Its very 60s sounding or somethin but I like it.....cant wait to hear the album!
  3. Is anything from their newer stuff as good as Don't Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall?

    Haven't been following them much

  4. They only released one song.

  5. Every album has at least one or two very good songs in it:

Standing on the shoulders etc: Go let it out and Who feels love
    Heathen Chemistry: Songbird
Don't believe the truth: that's quite a good album overall, with some nice, and mature, songs.
Dig out your soul: Bag it up, the singles, Soldier on.
Beady eye: the single looks great - much more uplifting than the usual Oasis song.

There's also some amazing unrealized songs. such as Noel's I wanna live in a dream (get the extended version, if you can).
  6. I also quite like the new single...its nothing earth shattering but I enjoy it.

Regarding Lyndon's post...nothing will ever top their early work but their later stuff is still solid. Noel has some great solo stufffor the future I believe including Record Machine and Stop the Clocks. Hopefully both see the light of day.
  7. Do you know that wonderful sensation when the hairs of your neck and arms stand up?

Now you CAN feel that for 5 minutes:

    Nice post...

I always liked "Gas Panic" and "Roll It Over" from SOTSOG, "Let's All Make Beiieve" (a "Go Let It Out" B-side), "The Hindu Times" (I know, they stole the riff from teh Stereophonics), and, gag if you will, "Stop Crying Your Heart Out."
