    Not sure how I feel about this. I'd rather have something new or a revisit to Hot Fuss. Why revisit something so recent? Kind of clashes with what other members of the band have said (they talked about how they want to do something different).

  7. The last 3 Killers christmas songs have been pretty good/entertaining, hopefully this one will be up there with the last ones

    listened to Flamingo for the first time in a month, it's the album of the year.

    Seriously? I dunno. It's pretty forgettable IMO. Only The Young stands out for sure, as does Crossfire (only because it sounds nothing like the rest of the album) but other than that, whole album of fillers in my opinion. Essentially everything I DON'T like about the Killers (mind you, it isn't a lot, I love them, just the things i Don't like) are all over this record. Which leads me to believe The Killers might be better if Brandon had less pull on some of the decisions they make. Just look at that quote I posted:

    "I'm planning on making our next album a revisit to our last two albums."

    Jesus man. I hope the band ignores this and does something completely differet considering Brandon's album sucks.

    This is just my opinion, I totally respect yours of course.

    Then again, what other stand out albums have come out this year?

  12. Yay! you've also come around and seen the light.
    It's telling that even huge Killers fans like my brother (who even tries to dress like Brandon) don't mention Flamingo much.

    I hope their new album is a return to form, it would be a pity to have them fizzle out like this.
